Being a full-time blogger I am constantly on the computer. At some point I would definitely want to buy a laptop. Looking at the prices on shopping.com, I realized how affordable and possible it would be for me to get one.
What Shopping.com does for you is find prices from different stores to give you the best rates. If you were searching for PC notebooks it displays the brand it is, the price ranges, and the stores that provide them for you. Basically like a simplified search engine for products.

Gumtree List in London
A lot of people should be familiar with online classifieds like Craigslist. To use these online classifieds, it's not only useful, but beneficial. I often search for jobs using classifieds.
Gumtree is another online classified directory where you can find tons of jobs. Gumtree provides you listings for London. If you were searching for jobs in london you could then sort by category. London jobs are just one feature. You can buy and sell, or even list personal ads.

MyAdBase Media Advertising
Looking to expand my websites advertising becomes very important. To help search for available and useful advertising My Ad Base has set up a helpful marketplace. You can buy advertising to fit your needs.
I base most of my advertising online and would look for websites to advertise on. There are currently 43 different websites available for advertising.
They display a list of these websites, however I don't like that there isn't an easy way to find prices. I have been told they do list prices, however I still haven't found where they are located. For a service like this, ease is very important. If it's not easy, there isn't much point in using it.
The other downside is that it's all UK. I believe they can grow to display new media advertising options for other countries as well. I think they have a great starting point and with my criticism could become a great website for any webmaster looking for advertising.

Get Paid to Blog by Smorty
Smorty is a service like several others where you can get paid to blog. Advertisers pay you to blog about their website or product. I haven't used Smorty before today and I am experimenting with how they perform against blog advertising services.
Good and Bad
I like several things about smorty. First off, all of my blogs have qualified so far, and each have had several opportunities to take. The price has been pretty consistent at 6$ per opportunity.
What I dislike so far is there lack of information about the website. There isn't a FAQ section, or really a terms of service. They don't tell you when you will be paid for your post. There is a section displaying my "Smorty Score", but no information what the score is even about.
Smorty definitely has a few kinks to work out and I hope they can broaden their advertisers to get more desirable opportunities. Compared to other services they are still young and do have a long way to go.

Market Your Blog
After you've created a blog with content that you are happy with you can't sit back and wait for advertisers and visitors. That is why internet marketing is so important. People need to know your blogs exist! They aren't going to magically find your site, google isn't always the answer.
I've had great success as of late and that is partly due to Webmaster Forum. Instead of sitting back and waiting for advertisers, which almost never works, I've been doing my own online marketing. Forums can be a powerful tool to further promote your blog or website, and really entice advertisers.
