Being a full-time blogger I am constantly on the computer. At some point I would definitely want to buy a laptop. Looking at the prices on shopping.com, I realized how affordable and possible it would be for me to get one.

What Shopping.com does for you is find prices from different stores to give you the best rates. If you were searching for PC notebooks it displays the brand it is, the price ranges, and the stores that provide them for you. Basically like a simplified search engine for products.

Gumtree List in London

A lot of people should be familiar with online classifieds like Craigslist. To use these online classifieds, it's not only useful, but beneficial. I often search for jobs using classifieds.

Gumtree is another online classified directory where you can find tons of jobs. Gumtree provides you listings for London. If you were searching for jobs in london you could then sort by category. London jobs are just one feature. You can buy and sell, or even list personal ads.

MyAdBase Media Advertising

Looking to expand my websites advertising becomes very important. To help search for available and useful advertising My Ad Base has set up a helpful marketplace. You can buy advertising to fit your needs.

I base most of my advertising online and would look for websites to advertise on. There are currently 43 different websites available for advertising.

They display a list of these websites, however I don't like that there isn't an easy way to find prices. I have been told they do list prices, however I still haven't found where they are located. For a service like this, ease is very important. If it's not easy, there isn't much point in using it.

The other downside is that it's all UK. I believe they can grow to display new media advertising options for other countries as well. I think they have a great starting point and with my criticism could become a great website for any webmaster looking for advertising.

Get Paid to Blog by Smorty

Smorty is a service like several others where you can get paid to blog. Advertisers pay you to blog about their website or product. I haven't used Smorty before today and I am experimenting with how they perform against blog advertising services.

Good and Bad

I like several things about smorty. First off, all of my blogs have qualified so far, and each have had several opportunities to take. The price has been pretty consistent at 6$ per opportunity.

What I dislike so far is there lack of information about the website. There isn't a FAQ section, or really a terms of service. They don't tell you when you will be paid for your post. There is a section displaying my "Smorty Score", but no information what the score is even about.

Smorty definitely has a few kinks to work out and I hope they can broaden their advertisers to get more desirable opportunities. Compared to other services they are still young and do have a long way to go.

Cheaper Than Hotels in Australia

Whether you are planning for the holidays or something comes up last minute, you can count on Cheaper Than Hotels for year round accommodation at fair prices. By booking through them you can often get free extras such as breakfast.

Cheaper than Hotels are currently promoting their Australia hotels, like deals on Sydney Hotels and Melbourne Hotels. Prices for hotels in Sydney start as low as 40 AUD, and prices for Brisbane Hotels can be as low as 65 AUD.

Easy To Book

Not only is traveling fun, but it is also a big business. There is a lot of competition for travel sites to get your business. Each one has to have lower rates for you to use them. Easy to Book tries to make it easy and affordable. They specialize in cheap hotels.

Easy to Book offers listings for Barcelona hotels. These hotels rate anywhere from 1 stars to 5 stars. You can also find hotels in Rome. There are tons of different types of hotels to chose from. Small family hotels, chain hotels, luxury hotels or low budget hotels. You can definitely find some deals on sites like Easy to Book instead of going directly to the hotel.

Market Your Blog

After you've created a blog with content that you are happy with you can't sit back and wait for advertisers and visitors. That is why internet marketing is so important. People need to know your blogs exist! They aren't going to magically find your site, google isn't always the answer.

I've had great success as of late and that is partly due to Webmaster Forum. Instead of sitting back and waiting for advertisers, which almost never works, I've been doing my own online marketing. Forums can be a powerful tool to further promote your blog or website, and really entice advertisers.

My Thoughts Ideas and Ramblings is another blog that I have found from PayPerPost. They are definitely monetized, but provide interesting articles and reviews. Lisa just wrote a great review of Blog Revolution. Blog Revolution is another Postie Blog.

I was surprised to see I had a review, all I asked for was a link exchange. I just expected a blogroll spot, but she wrote up a nice quick article about my site.

According to her About Me section, she is either about to p or just had a baby! Congrats!

Postie Shout Out!

I just used 50$ on PayPerPost as an advertiser.

In that campaign I got to create 6 opportunities at 5.50$ a piece. Out of those 6 opps, some were good, one was great and a few weren't so much.

Pegs AZ Life wrote a great review, and it was well worth the money. Her review was probably worth the money I spent on a few reviews. I only asked for a minimum of 100 words, and she gave me well over 400!

If you are looking for a quality review by a good a thorough blogger, I definitely suggest Peg!

Blogging About Blogs

Thank god that this place is still functional/operational. It has good PR and I hope that the site owner will not shut it down. If you are planning to shut it down - do notify me as I would love to take over this site.

Anyway, I have plans to roll out my new project on Free RSS Feed Me which is situated on rssfeedme.net. My new project will have new things thrown in and hopefully it will become a huge success.

I hope that the site will get indexed and obtain a PR soon from Google so that things will be smooth sailing. Many cheers to you and stay tune to my site!

Should You Change Domains?

I've been faced with this question on several of my blogs, including this one.

Recently I moved two more of my blogspot domains to their own domains. Fantasy Football N Stuff and Blog Addiction are now on their own domains. Now Lee has moved Quit Your Day Job to a new domain.

Now the rebuilding of the links begins. I am actively seeking ways to get more inbound links to my new domains, before the next google pagerank update. I am hoping my blogs can go back to the page rank of 4 that they were. In the meantime, I am not making any money on these blogs like I have been.

On a side note, you can win aWin a year’s worth of hosting at BloggingTips.com. So If you are looking to possibly move your blog off of a .blogspot or .wordpress url, you can do so with a nice hosting package. New Domains

I have finally purchased domain names for my fantasy football and blog/website review blogs.

Fantasy Football N' Stuff provides NFL news, updates, and injuries. We give in depth fantasy football advice, suggestions and recommendations. I expect another great season as football is just around the corner!

Blogging Addiction has been a project of mine for a while. I usually blog about whatever comes to mind from website, blog and product reviews, to personal information.

Adam Dempsey

To keep up in the blogging world, many are starting 2 or more blogs and projects. Each blogger wants more of a reach, more visitors. That's human nature, we always want more.

I found an interesting little website that is showcasing a blogger/entrepreneur website projects and endeavors. Adam Dempsey's Current Websites and Projects can be found on his website. As you can see not many of his projects run together, however he has brought them all together on this page.

Soon I will be doing something along those lines, with other blogs and websites (hopefully a directory). To have one page with all that info is a great idea.

Hotel Accomodations

Traveling abroad, for most people, is a once in a life-time opportunity. And for a lot of people they want to make the most of it. Searching online looking at different places around the world I found four star hotels.

Christchurch Accommodation was the first that I found. Christchurch is in New Zealand.

I also found Glasgow Accommodation. Glasgow is in the UK. I would assume looking online for hotels would be cheaper, or even best for last minute accommodations.

We are all trying to rank our websites higher on search engines, as well as improve our page rank and visibility on the internet. It all comes down to internet marketing. The other day I was surfing the net looking for a digital camera and found free auctions. Personally I was amazed at how free online auctions can impact the final price of a product. The prices seemed cheaper, and shipping less expensive. Especially compared to others that seem to put their own shipping fees in the sale price. I find it a nice business model and could be prosperous for future online sales.
